Official Judged Classes
Pre C-10 (1959 & Older)
The ultimate class for the vintage pioneers. This class is open to all classic GM trucks, panels, and early pickups built in 1959 or earlier.
First Gen C-10 (1960-1966)
Dedicated to the trucks that started the C/K revolution. This class is open to all first generation Chevrolet and GMC C-10s, C-20s, and K-series trucks built from 1960 through 1966.
Second Gen C-10 (1967-1969)
For the iconic slant-nose and early Action Line classics. This class is specifically for 1967, 1968, and 1969 Chevrolet and GMC C-10 and C-20 trucks.
Second Gen C-10 (1970-1972)
The celebrated finale of the Action Line era. This class is dedicated to the heavily favored 1970, 1971, and 1972 Chevrolet and GMC C-10 and C-20 trucks.
Third Gen C-10 (1973-1980)
Celebrating the early years of the legendary square body. This class is open to all third generation GM trucks, and crew cabs built from 1973 through 1980.
Third Gen C-10 (1981-1987)
For the refined, late-era square bodies. This class captures the final, fuel-injected, and classic dual-headlight evolution of the third generation GM trucks from 1981 through 1987.
OBS (1988-1998)
The definitive class for the Original Box Light Style. This class is open to the massive GMT400 platform – all 1988 to 1998 Chevy and GMC trucks and duallys that defined an era.
1999 – Present
For the modern heavy hitters and late-model builds. This class is open to all GM trucks built from 1999 to the present day, including the Silverado, Sierra, and heavy-duty HD platforms.
El Camino (All Years)
Business in the front, party in the back. This class welcomes all generations of the legendary GM El Camino, GMC Caballero, and Sprint, spanning all production years.
GM Mini Trucks & SUVs (All Years)
For the compact builds, classic SUVs, and street cruisers. This class is open to all years of GM mini trucks and sport utilities, including S-10s, Sonomas, Cyclones, Typhoons, K5 Blazers, Jimmys, Suburbans, and Trackers.

Frequently Asked Judging Questions
During the show, our judges will be quietly walking around to review the entries. To help speed up the judging process, they will focus solely on evaluating the trucks and will only speak with the owner if they have a question or need access to a certain area of the truck. Each judge is responsible for specific classes and will consult the judging overseer with any questions or concerns.
Yes! All classic and modern General Motors SUVs, Blazers, Jimmys, and mini-trucks (like S10s and Sonomas) are welcome and compete in the dedicated GM Mini Trucks & SUVs class.
To keep the competition fair and highly competitive, both the 2nd Gen and 3rd Gen C-10 classes are split into distinct year ranges (such as 1967–1969 and 1970–1972) to accommodate the massive number of classic trucks in those eras.
